It is best to have your ring size determined by a jeweller (you can go to any jewelry chain store).

If you can’t get that done, below this chart there are some options for determining your ring size yourself.

How to measure your ring size:

General tips

  • Temperature matters. Measure when your fingers are at room temperature. Cold fingers measure smaller and hot fingers measure larger.
  • Don’t measure early morning, after a long flight or after taking in lots of fluids. Your fingers will be swollen.
  • If two different sizes fit, go with the larger size.
  • Wider rings need a bigger size. Move up one size in the above chart for a wider ring.

METHOD 1: Measure Current Ring Inside Circumference (best method)

What you need:

  1. A ring that fits the intended finger well
  2. A ruler
  3. A pen
  4. A small rectangular piece of paper

Follow the instructions in the video below. Repeat 3 times to make sure you are accurate.

METHOD 2: Measure Current Ring Diameter (less accurate)

  1. Select a ring that properly fits the intended finger.
  2. Trace the inside edge of the ring on a piece of paper.
  3. Measure the diameter of the circle on the piece of paper (in mm or inches) and use the above chart to determine your size.

METHOD 3: Measure Your Finger Circumference with a Strip of Paper (less accurate)

  1. Take a strip of paper and wrap it around the intended finger.
  2. Mark the point where the paper meets itself around your finger with a pen.
  3. Measure the distance between the end of the paper and the pen mark to get the circumference of your finger.

Note: this method can be quite inaccurate, because it depends on technique. You can tape the paper strip together to make a paper ring and test if you can get it on your finger. If it is very tight, pick a ring size one size larger.

METHOD 4: Multiple Measuring (less accurate)

  1. Take a thread or string that does not stretch and wrap it around the intended finger 5 times.
  2. Measure the length of the piece of string
  3. Divide this number by 5 to get the circumference of your finger.

Remember that the ring must be a bit larger than this measurement to go over your knuckle.

How to measure your bangle size

METHOD 1: Measure Current Bangle Size

  1. Select a bangle that fits well over your hand.
  2. Measure the inside diameter.
  3. Read off the above Bangle Size Chart what your bangle size is.

Measure the length between the first 3 knuckles of your hand. Make a fist and measure from the outside of the first knuckle to the point between the 3rd and 4th knuckle.

Cuffs are measured by their inside diameter and cuff opening.

Cuffs have two measurements: inside diameter and cuff opening. Both measurements are provided for every cuff in my online shop.

Measure your wrist diameter to determine what inside diameter would fit you (but the cuff size should be slightly larger than your wrist diameter for it to be comfortable).

Measure your wrist thickness – this should be close to the cuff opening size.
