Exchanges & Returns Policy
Returns can be made within 30 days of receiving the package. If you are unhappy with anything or if the package was damaged then please do get in contact. Returns are only accepted on orders that were placed directly through my online shop. Please make sure of the size of the jewellery item when placing your order.
Please contact me to request a return.
Returns must be sent recorded postage or via courier with tracking number and wrapped very well, using the original wrapping and box. If items are not in their original condition, or have any imperfection, then they are no longer saleable and a refund will not be possible. I recommend sending your parcel via an insured service in case of any damage on its return journey. Gerda Goosen Jewellery is not responsible for any returns that go missing or lost on their way to me. Return postage / shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
A further delivery charge will be required for sending out exchanges.
We do not offer refunds or pay shipping costs for change of mind. If a piece is not quite right, you will be provided with an online store credit voucher which is valid for 1 year. Please note that shipping costs, customs duties and taxes are not refundable by Gerda Goosen Jewellery. However, you may be able to recover duties and taxes by contacting your local customs bureau or by hiring a customs broker.
I do not offer exchanges or refunds on sale items. All sales are final.

- Once your item has been received, the return will be processed within 5 business days and you will be emailed a store credit voucher in the form of a gift voucher. If a refund has been made, you will be credited to the same payment method used to make the original order. Processing time can vary between banks so please allow up to 10 business days for the refund transaction. Refunds or exchange credits are made to the original amount paid minus shipping costs.
Defects / damage
I check every piece for any defects or damage before it is dispatched to you. Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition please contact me immediately, by filling in the form on the “Contact” page for immediate feedback. Please note that all my jewellery is handmade and that some pieces have a ‘worn’ or ‘aged’ look by design.
I offer a flexible returns policy to make your online shopping experience pleasant and easy. I do monitor the number of returns made by customers and continued returns in breach of Gerda Goosen Jewellery terms and conditions will be flagged and may, at my discretion, lead to the closure of your Gerda Goosen Jewellery account or future orders being refused.

Size, Colours and Patterns
I have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the size, colours and patterns of the pieces that appear on the website. I send you the piece as photographed, but as computer monitors and device screens vary, I cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be completely accurate. Note that my bangles are slightly oval in shape by design – they have a better fit than round bangles.
